The programme
What it is.
The neck and décolletage age faster than the face and are treated far less often. Fotona fractional resurfacing remodels the crepey, lined skin of the neck and chest the same way it does the face; polynucleotides, placed into the repair window after each pass, rebuild the thin collagen there. One resurfaces, the other repairs, on skin that usually gives a face away.
The neck heals more slowly than the face, so the resurfacing is worked conservatively and the polynucleotides follow about two weeks later rather than on the day. Dr Beiki runs three rounds over roughly five months, with the firming continuing to build as the collagen matures.

Why the neck needs its own course
Neck and chest skin is thinner, has fewer oil glands and a poorer blood supply than the face, so it lines and creps earlier and heals more slowly. That is why it is treated conservatively and in a course: fractional resurfacing remodels the surface, and polynucleotides give the sparse fibroblasts material to rebuild with. Treating the neck to the same standard as the face keeps the two in step.
Why resurfacing then repair
Fractional resurfacing remodels the crepey skin and opens a healing window; polynucleotides placed into that window support the rebuild. They follow the laser by about two weeks rather than sharing the day, because the neck's slower healing makes that spacing the safer, more effective sequence.

Where it isn’t the answer
Heavy, hanging neck laxity, which is a surgical concern, not a skin-quality one.
A recent tan or sunburn on the area, where the laser is deferred.
Active infection or broken skin over the neck or chest.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, when both parts are postponed.

Why is the neck treated more gently than the face?+
Neck skin is thinner and heals more slowly than facial skin, with fewer oil glands and a poorer blood supply. The resurfacing is dialled to that, and the polynucleotides follow two weeks later, so the area is remodelled without being pushed past what it can safely heal.
Will it tighten loose neck skin?+
It firms and improves crepey, lined skin and tone. It does not lift heavy, hanging laxity, which is a surgical concern; Dr Beiki will tell you plainly which you have at consultation.
How much downtime?+
The resurfacing sessions leave redness and some peeling for around five to seven days; because the neck heals more slowly, this can run slightly longer than on the face. The polynucleotide visits have essentially none.
