Anti-Wrinkle Injections · Bath
Smooth. Soften. Look rested.

Here is the honest truth about anti-wrinkle: a smooth, still look is real, and some people want exactly that, while others would rather keep more of their movement. There is no single right answer, only yours. So before I treat, we agree how much expression you want to keep, and the proven doses are placed to match it. What you should never get is a result you did not choose.Dr Dana Beiki
About this treatment
Anti-wrinkle injections use a purified protein to temporarily relax the muscles that cause expression lines. The result is smoother, more relaxed skin that still moves naturally. Dr Beiki’s anatomy-led approach, shaped by the teachings of Dr Arthur Swift and Dr Sebastian Cotofana, ensures precise placement for natural-looking results.
The science
The medicine is a purified, prescription-only protein that relaxes muscle. Placed into a precise muscle, it binds the nerve endings that tell that muscle to contract and quietly interrupts the signal, by cleaving a transport protein called SNAP-25, for anyone who likes the detail. The muscle rests, the skin over it stops being folded, and the line softens. Nothing is added and nothing is filled. The effect is local and temporary: the nerve grows fresh endings over three to four months and full movement returns. As a pharmacist, dose and dilution are where I am most exacting, because that is the whole difference between a face that looks rested and one that looks frozen.
How it’s priced
Each area is priced on its own, so you treat only what you came for. A course is what Dr Beiki recommends over a single session: the results are cumulative, so a course builds and holds, while a single session is a top-up or a first trial. He will advise the areas and the number of sessions that genuinely serve you, never more. The £75 consultation is fully redeemable against any treatment booked.
By area & course
The most useful thing a clinic can tell you is whether a treatment is wrong for you. Here is who tends to do well, and where Dr Beiki would send you elsewhere. He would rather lose the booking than do the wrong thing.
What it treats
Where it isn’t the answer
Lines that stay when the face is completely at rest. Those are settled into the skin, not held by muscle, and do better with skin treatments or a little filler.
A heavy or hooded brow treated in the wrong pattern. Relaxing the forehead without balancing the muscles that lift the brow can let it sit lower, which is exactly why the assessment comes before the needle.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, or a neuromuscular condition such as myasthenia gravis. In these cases I will not treat.
An event in the next fortnight. The effect builds over ten to fourteen days, so it is never a same-week fix.
Relaxing a single muscle sounds blunt. Chosen precisely, it is one of the most versatile tools in the face, and most of what it does is not quite what people imagine.

The same protein eases forehead and frown lines and crow's feet, but it also lifts a heavy brow, calms a gummy smile, smooths a dimpled chin, relaxes a downturned mouth, slims a clenched jaw, softens neck bands and switches off the nerves that drive underarm sweat. Which muscle, and how much, decides whether it smooths, lifts, slims or quiets.

First it shows only when you move. Later it stays when you have stopped. Treated in the first life it rarely reaches the second, because the skin is no longer being folded thousands of times a day and gets to lie flat and recover. Caught late, the same line needs resurfacing rather than relaxing. Timing matters as much as dose.
The real measure
How much movement you keep is yours to choose. Some want a smooth, glassy stillness; others would rather keep their frown and their surprise. We agree it before I treat, so the face you see is the one you asked for, not one the dose decided.

The questions clinics avoid are often the ones that decide whether you book. So we put them here, before you ask.
It will not freeze your face. You will still smile, frown, and look surprised.
It will not change the shape of your face, only soften the lines movement leaves behind.
It will not remove lines that have already settled into the skin. Those are addressed differently.
It will not last forever: three to four months is the rhythm, sometimes a little longer with regular treatment.
It will not make you look like someone else. The brief is always you, rested.
Every plan starts with Dr Beiki looking at your face. You choose how: free and online through Le Cabinet, or in person at the Bath clinic.

« My first ever time getting anti-wrinkle treatment, after having filler elsewhere, and the experience was night and day. Dana explained everything and listened to me. I felt very looked after and it didn't hurt a bit. »
