What it is
Pigmentation is the skin keeping a record of every stimulus it has reacted to: sun, hormones, inflammation, sometimes all three. It tends to read worst in summer and on camera, and it is one of the most rewarding things we treat. But it requires a careful, layered approach and absolute respect for SPF.
We treat by category, and we prime the skin before any in-clinic work. Sun damage and lentigines respond to laser resurfacing, always on skin prepared beforehand and managed with brightening skincare and daily SPF afterwards. Melasma is a different conversation, because laser can worsen it, so the protocol stays gentler and prescription-led. Post-inflammatory pigment fades with the right routine alongside the work that resolved the original inflammation.

It will not be aggressive laser for melasma. The hormonal pigment often worsens with heat; we work slowly and prescriptively.
It will not last without SPF 50 daily. UV is the fastest way to undo every result here.
