What it is
Sensitive skin is rarely a permanent type. Most often it is a barrier that has been gradually weakened, sometimes over years, by products that promised more than the skin could tolerate. The result is skin that stings, flushes, or reacts to ingredients it once accepted without complaint.
We approach this gently. Barrier repair comes before any active treatment, gentle bio-revitalisation rather than heat, and prescription calming rather than acid. Once the barrier is back in place, most patients are surprised by how much the skin will tolerate again, when reintroduced in the right order.
What we look for
Dr Beiki assesses which of these are at play before recommending a layered approach.

Where it isn’t the answer
