What it is
Dull skin is the loss of freshness: that quiet, reflective quality healthy skin has when it catches the light. It often arrives slowly, almost as an absence: foundation sits differently, photographs feel flatter, you look tired in the mirror even on a good day.
It is not a single concern with a single solution. It is what happens when several quiet processes (hydration, cell turnover, collagen, surface texture) drift out of step at the same time. Each is treatable, and the layered approach is what restores light.
