The programme
What it is.
Lip & Perioral treats the mouth without injectable filler. Fotona LipLase uses laser to stimulate the lip's own collagen, which builds gentle volume and definition from within. Polynucleotides treat the skin around the mouth, firming the perioral area and softening fine vertical lines. The lip is worked from inside its own tissue; the surrounding skin is repaired separately.
Because LipLase and the perioral polynucleotides treat different tissue, they are done together in a single visit, repeated three times about four weeks apart. The lip change is subtle and biological rather than the volume of filler; the perioral skin firms progressively over the course.

Why laser for the lip, not filler
LipLase delivers thermal energy to the lip, stimulating fibroblasts to lay down collagen, so the fullness it gives is the lip's own tissue responding rather than a gel placed beneath it. It suits patients who want a fuller lip without filler, or for whom filler is the wrong choice. The change is gentle and maintained on a rhythm.
Why polynucleotides for the perioral skin
The skin around the mouth thins and lines with age and sun. Polynucleotides activate fibroblasts to firm and thicken that skin, softening fine vertical lines from the tissue itself rather than by freezing the muscle. Treating the lip and the perioral skin together addresses the whole area, not the lip alone.

Pregnancy or breastfeeding, when both parts are postponed.

Will my lips look as full as with filler?+
No, and that is the point. LipLase builds the lip's own collagen for a gentle, natural fullness; it will not match the volume of a millilitre of filler. It suits those who want a subtle change, or who would rather not have filler at all.
How long does it last?+
The lip change is maintained on a rhythm, with a top-up session every few months, rather than lasting as long as filler. The perioral skin firming from the polynucleotides is longer-held and cumulative.
Is there any downtime?+
Very little. LipLase has essentially none; the polynucleotide injections may leave small, brief marks around the mouth that settle within a day or two.
