The programme
What it is.
Acne scarring is the skin's record of past inflammation, and it remodels best in layers over months. This programme combines PRP and microneedling, which break down and rebuild scar collagen across the whole field, with Fotona fractional resurfacing, which reaches the deeper, set scars that needling alone cannot. The two together address both the texture around the scars and the scars themselves.
Dr Beiki is honest about the timeline and the ceiling: most patients reach a meaningful softening over a course, sequenced across several months, with red scars responding faster than older ones. Active acne is settled before any revision begins, because treating inflammation would only create new scarring.

Two depths, two tools
Microneedling with PRP remodels the broad field of shallow-to-moderate scarring and improves surrounding skin quality. Fotona fractional resurfacing delivers controlled columns of thermal injury that reach deeper boxcar and ice-pick scars the needle cannot, triggering focused collagen remodelling.
Realistic expectations
Scar revision improves, it does not erase. The evidence supports a meaningful softening for most patients across a course; we set that expectation at the start so the result tends to exceed it.

How much improvement is realistic?+
Most patients reach a meaningful softening across a full course over several months. Red, newer scars respond faster than older, set ones. We are honest about this from the first visit.
Can you treat me if I still break out?+
Occasional spots, yes. Active inflammatory acne, no. We settle the active acne first, because treating inflammation would create new scarring.
Is there downtime?+
Microneedling sessions need a day or two of redness. The Fotona resurfacing session has more, typically several days of redness and flaking, which we plan around your calendar.
