About this treatment
Jaw slimming uses anti-wrinkle injections to reduce the size of the masseter (jaw) muscles, creating a slimmer, more contoured lower face. It’s also one of the most effective treatments for bruxism (teeth grinding and jaw clenching), providing relief from pain, tension headaches, and dental damage.
The science
Botulinum toxin is injected into both masseter muscles: the large muscles on either side of the jaw used for chewing. Over 4–6 weeks, the muscles gradually reduce in bulk, narrowing the jawline and creating a more V-shaped facial profile. For bruxism sufferers, the reduced muscle activity relieves clenching and grinding.
