What it is
A double chin (properly, submental fullness) is rarely a single cause. For some patients it is a genetic pad of fat that has been there since adolescence; for others it has arrived with bone resorption, skin descent, or postural changes that have softened the angle between jaw and neck.
We address it as a profile question, not a fat question. Filler restores the projection that defines the jaw, and the Nefertiti lift releases the platysmal pull that blurs the chin-to-neck angle. The result is a recognisably more defined profile, with the rest of the face intact.
